Unlike most versions of the NB 550 where the upper is made entirely of leather, the 550 Gum features supple suede overlays around the toe and heel. The panels are predominantly black with hints of gray on the tongue, “550” branding, and throughout the collar. Underfoot, a brown gum rubber outsole attached to an EVA-cushioned midsole unit completes the pair.
